Complete edition of special short to add previously unseen footage

The Katekyo Hitman Reborn! special short from last year's Jump Super Anime Tour will ship in a complete edition DVD with previously unseen footage added. Jump Super Anime Tour 2009 traveled to five Japanese cities in October, and the Reborn! special was one of several original anime shorts, inspired by manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, that the tour screened.

The July 21 DVD release of Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Jump Super Anime Tour 2009: Vongola Shiki Shūgaku Ryokō, Kuru! The Complete Memorial will contain the version of the anime short that was screened during the tour, but it will also contain the complete edition with additional scenes. Those new scenes include a brawl in a hot spring and a battle of hidden talents between the main character Tsuna's family and the Varia assassins.

Viz Media is publishing the 15th volume of Akira Amano's original mafia action comedy manga in North America this week.

Tales of Symphonia: Tethe'alla-hen ships in 2 editions with different bonus DVDs

The Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Chara DVD: Rebo-Chara Collection ~Saikyō no Nakama-tachi~ will ship in three monthly DVD volumes with mini anime extras between April and June. The DVDs highlight the 10 most popular characters of the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! anime series, as decided by fans in a poll. While the main part of the first DVD will be montages of existing scenes featuring the characters, it will also include an "all-new mini anime."

The limited first edition of the first Blu-ray/DVD volume of the Ladies versus Butlers! anime will bundle a separate special DVD with a new anime extra. The anime extra will feature the characters Tomomi and Selnia. The special DVD will also include the Ladies versus Butlers! (Redi x Bato) special program that aired on December 29, as well as promotional footage that ran in stores. A CD-ROM will be included with the Radi x But! web radio program hosted by the voice actresses Mai Nakahara and Mariya Ise.

The first DVD volume of the Tales of Symphonia the Animation: Tethe'alla-hen anime series will come in two different versions. The Collector's Edition (pictured at right) will include a separate bonus disc with an anime extra. The "Exsphere Edition" will include a different bonus disc with a new video recording of the cast.
