1st BIg Windup! Compilation DVD Set to Have New Anime
posted on 2009-12-22 01:33 ESTThe official website for the Ookiku Furikabutte anime relaunched on Tuesday with a confirmation of the second season and an announcement of a compilation DVD set for the first anime season. Best of Ookiku Furikabutte ~Natsu no Scorebook~ will ship on March 24 with two DVDs, each of which will summarize 13 episodes down to about 90 minutes. The first DVD will include a new version of Mihashi's birthday scene from episode 10. The set will also include a DJ CD from the characters of the Nishiura baseball team.

Funimation acquired the North American rights to the first season of the Ookiku Furikabutte anime under the name Big Windup! and has released the season's two DVD sets this past August and September. The first episodes are streaming on Hulu.com, Funimation's own website, and ANN.
