Super Street Fighter IV Anime, Live-Action Dead Rising Announced (Updated)

SSFIV Xbox 360 to ship in April with anime by Basilisk's Fumitomo Kizaki, Gonzo

The game studio CAPCOM has announced at the "CAPCOM Title Premiere fo Xbox 360" press conference on Tuesday that the Microsoft Xbox 360 version of the fighting game will bundle an all-new animation project exclusively in Japan. This anime is being directed by Fumitomo Kizaki (Basilisk) at the Gonzo anime studio. CAPCOM has posted a 158-second animation trailer and several gameplay trailers on its website. The game will ship in Japan on April 28.

Update: CAPCOM also announced that it is producing a live-action film version of its Dead Rising zombie game called Shibyō Osen Dead Rising. Keiji Inafune, the producer of Dead Rising and the character designer of the Rockman/Megaman game franchise, is directing. A trailer is streaming on the movie's official website.
