Dota 2

   Hi all Dota gamers out there , as you all know , in 2 more days Dota 2 will be released , i am excited as well to see the gameplay and hopefully it'll bring up the dota community even higher

    Dota is one of my first game back in my junior high where i used to play every single day with my friends , now that it's upgraded version dota 2 is going to be released , am really excited and can't wait for the epic tournament matches

     Looks cool right , these pics are leaked from the Thailand team MiTH - Trust ( so if you wanna kick them in the face or thank them , there you go )




     My personal opinion , i think the graphic is comparable to HON now , but i think we'll be needing a lot of time to adapt and understand this new graphics ... (especially the icons for skill - items , suddenly nerfed to noobs all over again)


     But i heard that the game itself won't be changed too much from the original for now because the pro team do need to take their time practicing as well for  the tournament

    And here you go , the list of 16 teams which are going to compete for the 1 million US dollar as the grand prize

      Too bad that some teams can't join such as DK , WE because of their visa problem and many more ... and of course the LGD which has disbanded (dunno about zsmj yet), Starsboba also will be replaced by SGC because of their visa problem

    4 players from LGD has been bought by a rich guy which also buy the CCM team (for 6 Million US Dollars , WHAT THE FIRETRUCK ) , changing the name into iG (invectus Gaming) , surely they'll have lots of advantage of having 2 of the best chinese teams joining forces , but we'll see

     Just like any other competition i also have my support which lands on M5 , Navi (and LGD actually , but they've been replaced with virus) ... but you can't take all the other teams lightly though , like Starsboba which has the signature of playing different and unexpected strats , nevo - Schyte is also a good team

   Lots of competition , lots of great matches to come , i am sure it's going to be a great tournament  , can't wait to see it via live streaming ... and i have to say may the best team win

Update 21st August 2011
   Hey guys , back with some update ... you all know who the winner is right ? yup .. congratz to Na'vi one of my favourite team since the start of the tournament ... they're going back to Ukraine with some .. no ... huge pile of money ... a million dollar and of course winning the 1st international dota 2 tournament ... how cool is that ?

    Don't see it 1 sided though , other teams also give a good fight , they are tough to crack like Schyte the Singaporean team , though they're in 3rd place ... they managed to beat EHOME the 1st time and cause quite a trouble for Na'vi at winner's bracket stage .. shocking the dota universe for their powerful performance on beating most of the strong teams such as MYM

   And also EHOME , despite losing to Schyte the 1st time , they managed to get back up , beat the crap out of schyte at loser's bracket final and go head to head with Na'vi at the tournament finals ... they lost 3-1 but they're both still awesome 

     Na'vi .. i don't think i need to talk about them , their win rate in this tournament is 100% , pure epic win of awesomeness ... on a scale from 1 to ten ... it's a double effin rainbow

Give applause to all of the participants  , they're freakin awesome !

   Shoutcasters also announced that this is going to be an annual event , but they didn't say anything more than that , we'll catch up more on that later i suppose

Na'vi finish in 1st place with their 100% win rate

   Taking 1 million dollar prize back to Ukraine and winning the 1st ever dota 2 tournament

   Ehome in 2nd place get the 250.000 dollar prize ... followed by Schyte in 3rd which come in very close as one of the strong competition in the tournament

    Yes there are still lots of aspect of dota 2 that needs to be improved , but there are still more and lots of dota 2 to come in the future , we still haven't seen the last of it yet
