Yasuhiro Imagawa Cancels Trip to Sakura-Con

Sakura-Con announced that director Yasuhiro Imagawa (Giant Robo, G Gundam, Shin Mazinger Shōgeki! Z-Hen) has cancelled his guest appearance at the April 2-4 convention in Seattle. Imagawa offered his apologies for canceling due to a new project, and he expressed his hope that he can attend the convention in the future.

The rock bands High and Mighty Color and Dazzle Vision, voice actress Mayumi Tanaka, animator Tsuyoshi Nonaka, director Satoshi Nishimura, character designers Yutaka Minowa and Takahiro Yoshimatsu, and illustrator Noizi Ito are still scheduled to attend the convention.

Last year, both Nonaka and Imagawa were scheduled to appear at Anime Weekend Altanta, but then cancelled their appearances.
