Teru is a "poor girl", her brother died when she was younger and left her with a phone. She keeps in contact with a mystery person named "Daisy" who she comes to respect and admire sincerely as he is always protecting her, she has never met him face to face though. At the start of the manga she gets picked on by the student council, after being soaked by them she throws a ball through a window resulting in her meeting with the school Janitor, Tasuku Kurosaki. She starts working for him in payment for the broken window.Kurosaki works as the school janitor. He is also a computer hacker.
