Gothicmade anime to be previewed on March 20 at Newtype's 25th anniversary

Mamoru Nagano, the manga and anime creator best known for Five Star Stories, will be making his directorial debut with a new animation project called Hana no Utame Gothicmade. The Anime NewType Channel website has posted an image from the project. The first preview of the project will be presented at the "All Night Newtype Show!" event, which will mark the 25th anniversary of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Newtype magazine in Tokyo on March 20.

The Gotchimade project was first revealed in Newtype and the project's official website in 2006, but few updates on its status have been provided since then. Besides Gothicmade, the "All Night Newtype Show!" event will showcase The Vanishment of Haruhi Suzumiya, Kobato., Macross Frontier, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and other projects. 300 audience members over the age of 18 will be selected from mail-in forms that are included in Newtype's March issue, which will ship on Wednesday.

Update: More background information added and title's spelling corrected.
